Pope condemns Putin over Russia’s ‘infantile’ war in Ukraine
Pope Francis has said he is considering a visit to Kyiv as he condemned Russian President Vladimir Putin for launching a “savage” war.
Speaking after his arrival in Malta, he delivered his most pointed and personalised denunciation yet of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Francis did not cite the Russian president by name, but the reference was clear when he said “some potentate” had unleashed the threat of nuclear war on the world in an “infantile and destructive aggression” under the guise of “anachronist claims of nationalistic interests”.
“We had thought that invasions of other countries, savage street fighting and atomic threats were grim memories of a distant past,” Francis told Maltese officials and diplomats on the Mediterranean island nation at the start of a weekend visit.
Francis has so far avoided referring to Russia or Mr Putin by name, but Saturday’s personalisation of the powerful figure responsible marked a new level of outrage for the pontiff.
“Once again, some potentate, sadly caught up in anachronistic claims of nationalist interest, is provoking and fomenting conflicts, whereas ordinary people sense the need to build a future that will either be shared or not be at all,” he said.
The Vatican tends to not call out aggressors in hopes of keeping open options for dialogue.

The Vatican, which in recent years has forged unprecedented new relations with the Putin-allied Russian Orthodox Church, has offered itself as a potential mediator but has been largely left on the diplomatic sidelines.
Francis told reporters en route to Malta that a possible visit to Kyiv was “on the table”, but no dates have been set or a trip confirmed.
The mayor of the Ukrainian capital had invited Francis to come as a messenger of peace along with other religious figures.
Francis also said that the war has pained his heart so much that he sometimes forgets about the pain in his knees.

Francis has been suffering for months from a strained ligament in his right knee. The inflammation got so bad that the Vatican arranged for an elevator to get him on to and off the plane for Saturday’s flight to Malta.
The visit, originally scheduled for May 2020, was always supposed to focus on migration, given Malta’s role at the heart of Europe’s migration debate.
Speaking with Malta’s president by his side, Francis denounced the “sordid agreements” the European Union has made with Libya to turn back migrants and said Europe must show humanity in welcoming them.
He called for the Mediterranean to be a “theatre of solidarity, not the harbinger of a tragic shipwreck of civilisation”.

Body Scanning - 2 - Fragrant Heavens

Body Scanning - 2 - Fragrant Heavens
Moving over the body and clearing as much as you possibly can within the subtle body can often release long-buried physical injuries, emotional crisis and trauma. Gradually, layer by layer, impediments holding the client back from complete wellness appear to dissipate, and the persons physical body will be better able to respond to any treatment subsequently applied.
All therapists work with the aura and chakras, if if they don't realize it. Every client comes to us with an energy profile. We may talk about it in generally accepted terms, such as ' He has a high energy level'. or 'He's hyper,' or 'Her energy level is very low - she needs a boost.
What we are talking about here is a frequency that can now be measured by sophisticated equipment. This energy is subtle, a quality of the energy field that is unseen by the naked eye, but tangible nonetheless. We might find ourselves saying of a person operating from one chakra area more than the others, 'His emotional pain is deep in the belly,' or @Her heart is broken,' or 'His head rules his heart.'
All these are imbalances, people may have become imbalanced in terms of energy. Perhaps their parents were emotionally cold which dis allowed the flowering of a warm and vibrant heart, and subsequently, less active heart chakra developed. People can become imbalanced for countless reasons; our job is to prevent the environment in which energy balance and healing can take place.
To begin with, simply look for the general energy level, and work to balance that. With experience, you'll come to know the energy of the various chakras, and be able to see which have an excess of energy or a depletion. You can look for heat, cold, lack of energy, excess of energy, and something very tangible, the feel of the aura, which can, in cases of impoverished mental and emotional habits or ill health, be felt as a clammy gooey cloud.
Chakras relate to particular vertebrae, which in turn relate to particular nerves and organs. By feeling the chakra-energy, you can cross-reference, and question the client about health of relevant area of the body. People do not mean to hold information back: they might not think it very important, having more pressing problems, or they might simply have forgotten.
>
By scanning the aura above the surface of the body, you have another diagnostic tool at your disposal which, with good communication with a person, can often reveal problems hidden deep within the body.

Body Scanning: Fragrant Heavens

Body Scanning: Fragrant Heavens
By scanning the body you can determine areas of the body that are misaligned or lacking in healthy energy flow. The hands are held a couple of inches above the skin and skimmed over the body to feel the general state of aura, and to locate areas that are particularly hot, cold or even clammy.
The chakras are clearly felt as different , having above their location an energy which differs from person to person. There is no substitute for actual practice in scanning, by which comparisons can be made of the different fell of aura and chakras. The aura can be felt 2 inches above the surface of the body, and the chakras are around six to eight inches.
The body has an electromagnetic field that can be registered by mechanical equipment. The therapist can become a living form of that kind of equipment, with practice. One day all therapists may make scanning a preliminary procedure to hands-on therapy, in much the same way as neurologists nowadays routinely attach electrodes to the surface of the bodies to help them make a diagnosis when such equipment was totally unknown.
>
If we the therapists, were inert, we couldn't body scan: as it is, we are ourselves electrically sensitive and mechanically able to pick up energy, if we have been tuned into the practice.
Body scanning simply involves running the palms of both hands over the body of the person, looking for changes in the energy field. This obviously has to be done with great awareness, and I feel it helps to very slightly bounce the hands to feel resistance is there.
>
If for example you feel a hot spot over a shoulder, it could indicate pain or injury: perhaps an old injury that is still manifest in the auric field. Such injuries may not be bothering the person now, today, but when they are fatigued at some point in the future, or under physical, emotional or spiritual pressure, this old pain may return to the body, even if the injury or wound has healed physically.
Old wounds can come back to haunt us if, in reality, they never went away - they were stored in a subtle body under 'unfinished business'. Working in the subtle body not only identifies such lingering problems, it is the route through which to transform them, by cleaning and strengthening the energy field.
>
Chronic physical pain that just will not go away often responds well to anti-inflammatory essential oils, such as chamomile, used in the energenetic field, preliminary to physically working on the body.
When scanning a body, essential oils can be placed on the hand, which is moved in slow, small circles over the area, hovering just above it. Then after working on such an area, wash your hands before continuing with the scan.
